Why would the purchase amount value NOT be transfered to the payment gateway eg Palypal or NOCHEKS?

If you are using the standard paypal module, the customer can remove the amount to be paid before going to paypal, or substitute it with an amount of their own.

 

Or, you may have changed the default currency in your oscommerce control panel, without changing it in includes/languages/english.php By default it is set here to 'USD' and needs to be changed if you have set some other currency as the default currency in Localisation.

It seems that the "Payment For: Shopping Cart View Contents" is not working. when being transfered to Paypal.

 

The 'View Contents' is NOT present which would seem to imply that the transaction details are NOT being passed to Paypal.

 

Any ideas would be much appreciated at this stage in the game.

Ok I've changed the english.php entry as follows:

 

// if USE_DEFAULT_LANGUAGE_CURRENCY is true, use the following currency, instead of the applications default currency (used when changing language)

define('LANGUAGE_CURRENCY', 'GBR');

 

from USD.

 

Is this what you mean't ... only the problem persists.

 

... and yes I have change my default currency and langugae to English (en) and GBR.
