I have set teh store up with all the mods i had before. I have a backup of my old database but ONLY want to import the product, Catagory, Manufacture , Attributes info. How on earth can I do this?? (Please say its possable! :( ) - If not I have no idea what im going to do as I have spent last few months putting up near enough 200 products etc. (I have all product images in exact same place on server as before so hopefully that wont be a prob) Any advice appreaciated. Guest Posted December 11, 2004 Posted December 11, 2004 Use the Easy Populate Contribution... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Will this work if: a. I wasent using it before i backed up database and took old store ofline. b. I have various mods installed like wholesale pricing (more quantity lower price etc) Is there a way I can specificaly only import certain tables from a backup onto the current database? - with phpadmin?
Guest Posted December 11, 2004 Posted December 11, 2004 only one way to find out . .. and the answer is yes. i wouldnt do it with phpmyadmin, as you are starting with an empty store, just let osCommerce assign the id's , if you use a backup you have to be exact with how the id;s from products and manufacturers are tied together.
