im having problems with ssl I need a certificate for my site or a shared SSL,

 

can anyone help with this.

 

They are rather expensive and im on a very tight budget.

If you cannot afford your own cerfificate then you need to get with your hosting company and see if they have a shared one available. If they do you need to get all the correct information so you can edit your configure.php files.

You can get a cheap SSL certificate from ********* (hmm better not post the URL but do some googling) for $39 for one year. I'm sure there will be similar deals if you look around.

 

A shared SSL usually comes free from a decent web host.

 

If you do decide on a dedicated SSL rather than a shared SSL then check out how much your host will charge (usually a monthly or yearly rate) to serve it.

 

Bottom line, do your homework and it shouldn't cost a lot if you get a decent host.
