If they do you need to get all the correct information so you can edit your configure.php files. The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing. Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems? I'm sure there will be similar deals if you look around. A shared SSL usually comes free from a decent web host. If you do decide on a dedicated SSL rather than a shared SSL then check out how much your host will charge (usually a monthly or yearly rate) to serve it. Bottom line, do your homework and it shouldn't cost a lot if you get a decent host.
