ewholesalesunglassesdotcom Posted December 10, 2004 Posted December 10, 2004 I'm still very new and learning oscommerce. The annoying file picture "table_background_default.gif" that is located to the top/right (under the main banner) I just want it gone! What file in the file manager would I go to remove it? I just can't find the file to remove the graphic. Any help would be greatly appreciated! If you need to look it's at www.ewholesalesunglasses.com (I temporarily put in a little blank white .gif to hide the dumb graphic.. but that isn't working out and was only a band aid quick fix. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!
♥Vger Posted December 10, 2004 Posted December 10, 2004 Actually, rather than go through page after page of code to remove the table_background image files, it's best to do what you are doing. Open them all in Photoshop, fill them in the same colour as your background and then upload them again. Images are gone and the layout is not disrupted. You can't remove them in the File Manager (which you should not use to edit files anyway). If you want to get rid of them completely you need to download the files and edit them one by one (always backing up before you edit), in a plain text editor like NotePad (not WordPad). Vger

vinces Posted December 11, 2004 Posted December 11, 2004 Just remove it in includes/header.php. If you are getting a box with an x in it, then you named the file wrong and the needed one does not exist, David Amherst
