Brock <{POST_SNAPBACK}> There is a pretty wide range, you can look in the contribution section and find quite a few that have been added. The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing. Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems? There are many very useful osC Contributions Are you having trouble with a installed contribution? Have you checked out the support thread found Here BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP!!! You did backup, right??

I've reviewed the contribution section. My first impression is that there are bank specific modules but then more widely applicable modules that could be used with more banks and that these require more investigation. Is that corrcet? Guest Posted December 10, 2004 Posted December 10, 2004 Im also after the same kind of infomation, There seem to be so many merchants? - went to authorize.net and all they have is a list of other providers? As a whole, if your based in the UK and just need a merchant account which accepts as many cards as possable and sets up easy in oscommerce (with a mod etc) can anyone give a perticular name. Or perhaps recomendation. Thanks, Chris PS. Paypal looks tempting but not really an option for the client im currently building a store for as its prety pricey per transaction. - Think i read that its not the most secure either?

Paypal is actually one of the cheapest internet only third-party providers. Not only to setup but on a per transaction basis.
♥Vger Posted December 10, 2004 Posted December 10, 2004 Paypal is actually one of the cheapest internet only third-party providers. Not only to setup but on a per transaction basis. Up to around ?20,000 a year in turnover you'd be right. But once you get above that level then it becomes cheaper to use someone like HSBC, using their E-secure system. It's also a much better system, with an on screen terminal for accepting debit and credit card payments by phone and by mail order. and sets up easy in oscommerce True of PayPal, not true of HSBC E-secure. Great system, but a total pig to install. Vger
