rlped Posted December 10, 2004 Posted December 10, 2004 My client is selling a number of bullk items in fixed units - 1 pound 2 pound, 5 pound, etc. Each larger size gets a price break. I'd like (I think) to use attributes so the product page will only show the products and the orderred ammount is an attribute which let's the customer pick different sizes. The rate per pound changes (volume discount) as they buy more, so the attribute needs to multiply. I've looked at the contri (TEP) that supports a multpliler '*' as a price_prefix. But this code is not current. I have installed the weights for attributes as well. Any suggestions on where to look or how to set this up? TIA, Richard Quote
bengalliboy Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 I am trying to do the same. I will need to sell item by weight. So if some on buys a item it should multipley by price per weight. How do you do this? Thanks My client is selling a number of bullk items in fixed units - 1 pound 2 pound, 5 pound, etc. Each larger size gets a price break. zakwhite Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 Make a category like SOYBEANS then enter product in as 1-49LBS Soybeans $12.99 per pound. Then do another product as 50-99LBS Soybeans $19.99 etc. Quote
