Processing Orders. Step by Step Help/Manual ?

Hey guys, has anyone found a step by step guide to processing orders? Has anyone written one, or come across one?

 

Id REALLY like a reasonbly detailed one, to sit here next to me , would really help.

I was actually tracking another post (like this), but this is what I can offer you. Take a look here:

Select the "catalog" link and walk through the process yourself.

 

Never mind that all of the products are out of stock. Put one in your cart, create an account and checkout. You can provide any name and address and fill in the information as if you were going to purchase the item(s).

 

Since a credit card is required, you can use 4007000000027 for the example.

 

Yes, there are a few (possibly too many) steps - and obviously, if you are using PayPal that is not shown - but the "workflow" should be very clear.

 

My recommendation: Make note of the page names and the layout; if you must, take screen prints to use as reference.

Thanks for that, but I acctually meant from the store owners end of things. Ie when they recieve the order, teh steps then to process it?
