jenspag Posted December 9, 2004 Posted December 9, 2004 Hi, I've entered weights for each product in the catalog and tried to set up table rate shipping by weight but it's not working properly. Is the weight supposed to be in any specific unit? I've entered the weights in grams and set up the table rate shipping as under 250g $3.60, up to 500g $4.50 and up to 3kg $8.10 as 250:3.60,500:4.50,3000:8.10. When I test it and go to the checkout with 1 product weighing 100g I get a shipping total of $21.90 Can anyone help?

Did you check in admin/configuration/Shipping-packages? there are some percent increase and tara weight .. which messes up your end number .. after setting all this to zero i got it work :) I have state based contribution and numbers 5:461,15:503 which means up to 5 units (each product is marked with 1 unit) costs 461 and up to 15 units (15 products) costs 503 .. lets say $ :)
