so far I've unzipped the oscommerce file and copied the catalog directory into my webfolder. I'm using IIS on windows 2000. I have installed Mysql. When I open Internet Explorer and goto "http://192.168.0.2/catalog/install" the web browser displays the contents of the install.php file.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I know the web server works because I can get it to display html files. Is it that I need a name for the website rather than an IP Address? I'm lost :'( .

I've never used php before so I'll be the first to admit I know nothing.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Thanks,

:-" Ok, I call a friend. He said I needed to get php. I didn't realize it wasn't included with a standard IIS setup. I feel stupid.

Don't know if anybody else didn't know. But php can be downloaded at www.php.net.

FYI
