volvoman Posted December 8, 2004 Posted December 8, 2004 I Have noticed that when i log into my admin area that i have to type in my user name and password twice everytime and alo when i am in the admin area it shows that i am not in a secure area. Any ideas on how to fix this?? Thank You Terry

Thank You Terry <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Are you using a contrib or an htaccess file to have the system ask you to enter a password? As for not being in a secure area get an SSL certificate and install it on the server. John
Guest Posted December 8, 2004 Posted December 8, 2004 i fixed it Terry, the file permissions were at 444, and I could not ftp to the site the change required, thus I went via cpanel/file manager, changed the permissions, then changed the configure.php. upon first access to the site, if you use http://www.volvomotorsports then it shows not protected, however once you click on a menu item it goes secure.
