Hi,

 

I downloaded OSCommerce 2.2 and the installation was apparently successful, but I had a problem in the login page.

 

When a registered user tries to log in with email and pwd, the login page reloads with the field pwd empty (without error message of wrong password).

 

Now..

I'm trying oscommerce on AlterVista and by default the permissions are:

664 on files

775 on folders

not 666 and 777 as indicated in the install guide of oscommerce.

 

Where is the problem?

Maybe the chmod settings? or something else wrong during the installation? :'(

it wasn't a permission error..

Simply the default value of the field 'customers_status' in 'customers' table was 0

(customer inactive i guess).

Simply set the default value to 1
