Concussion4 Posted December 8, 2004 Posted December 8, 2004 Hello everyone, I finally got my SSL up and working fine, and this is the last problem im trying to iron out. For some reason my cookies are expiring at the end of the session (i use firefox to examine the cookie). I would like to set it up to expire in like 2030, so that someone will not be logged out of the site, is this possible? Please let me know, if you have any information. thanks.

TCwho Posted December 11, 2004 Posted December 11, 2004 hmmm I could be very WRONG.... but I think its worth a shot looking at your catalog/includes/classes directory Im guessing it could be somewhere in either http_client.php or sessions.php Drop_Shadow How Did You Hear About Us Email HTML Order Link ---- GMT -5:00
♥Vger Posted December 11, 2004 Posted December 11, 2004 Sessions expire after (I think this is right) 20 minutes of inactivity. Cookies, when 'Force Cookie Use' is enabled (when a full ssl or no ssl is installed) are stored on the customers computer and contain the session information within the cookie. I can't remember how long before the cookie expires, but I believe it is several months at least. Vger
