Manual Thumbnails

I have tried every thumbnail contribution from vanilla install and have had no luck on any of them. I would like to try something a little bit different. I am going to add thumbnails manually and rename them with a _th at the end of the name. Example: img.jpg's thumbnail would be called img_th.jpg. Then I could have the pages call for img1_th.jpg for the thumbnail instead of img1.jpg. how and where would I go to change the codes to where instead of calling for the image, the call for the image_th for thumbnails?

 

Basically, everywhere it goes to show the thumbnail, it will show whatever the pictures name is, but with a "_th" at the end of the name.

 

Or, is there anyone willing to install a thumbnail gallery from a vinilla install for me? I know these things only take a few minutes if you know what your doing, and I will give out a temporary admin username and pass. Also I will give ftp access to the directory.

 

I know I'll get a lot of responses asking for money, and trust me I'd probably do it too. I'm hoping someone has a little x-mas spirit in them and can offer 10 mins of their time and just help someone in need.
