Breadcrum - (How do I access LAST section of it) ?

I want to replace the default text (Let's See What We Have Here) with the exact text that appears in the breadcrumb (only the last section of it actually)

FOR EXAMPLE :

 

If the breadcrumb looks liike this:

Home ? Tournaments ? Southwest

 

I want to be able to substitute "Southwest" into various places on the page. So ............... my question is: How do I access that variable ?

Near the top of the file being displayed, you will see something like

  $breadcrumb->add(NAVBAR_TITLE, tep_href_link(FILENAME_CONDITIONS));

NAVBAR_TITLE is the word(s) added to the breadrumb.
