donkarnag Posted December 7, 2004 Posted December 7, 2004 Greetings all. I haven't seen any posts on this so I am very curious. I have set up a site (www.scubadiscounters.com) and now am adding SSL. Using the shared certificate (the dedicated certificate is on its way) I can get almost everything running except that the shopping cart on the non-secure server is different than on the secure server. The entire rest of the database and the whole file system seems to be exactly the same but the shopping cart is different. At first look, it seems that before you are logged in, everything that you shop for is put into one cart, then when you log in, it goes into another one. The big problem comes when you shop for a while (on the nonSSL server) then log in to pay (on the SSL server) and the shopping cart is gone. I have tried tracking this to several different potential problems like dual databases, wacky installation errors, etc. but to no avail. Any help would be appreciated. I will probably have the SSL option off to keep business flowing but would be happy to turn it on if anyone would like to take a look. Thanks ahead.
