Yet another issue.

I have multiple sites running the same snapshot and modified copy of osCommerce. I was fixing one of my sites and used a database backup from a different URL to restore. The site works but it seems like it is branded with the name from teh other store.

 

It says, Welcome to XXXXX.com when it should say Welcome to YYYYY.com

 

and in the taskbar for windows it also says XXXXX.com instead of YYYYY.com

 

I was not aware of any sort of database ID or anything like that.....

Any ideas as what it could be?

when you restore a database, all the company info, address, etc will go where you restore to, as well as the products, customer info, yada yada yada .. .

 

if you are using header tags controller, that could be where you may be pulling some of the info from.

Dont the header tags generate from the store info. What file should I be concerned with for the header tags, keeping info?
