Product Size not sorted

Hi, I've been using OSCommerce for some time now, I've used the size attribute successfully until a couple of days ago when i accidentally entered a duplicate size and associated it with a product which already has that size. Now the thing is going bonkers for some reason e.g. listing 14 before 12. Can anybody help me ?
