Adding contributions I get parse error

Hi Guys,

I Have been building a store and everytime I try to add even one line of code, (using the define languages then I go to the file add the line of code click save) I get a parse error:

Any clues or is this too general of a question? If so then I will be more specific/ thanks iin advance..

don't use the editor in store admin - use ftp and notepad(or similar).
