On the hosting I am using I installed osCommerce by using cpanel. At the time I didn't have an SSL and when I goto the admin section it says you are not protected by an ssl. I have a private ssl now configured for my website. What do I need to change to make osCommerce recognizes that.

You need to edit your two configure.php files

includes/configure.php

admin/includes/confgure.php

Change the sssl from false to true

Edit your https: defines to match your certifcate information

If you want your admin to use the ssl all the time you need to change the top http: define so that it also matches your https: path

The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing.

Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems?

There are many very useful osC Contributions

Are you having trouble with a installed contribution? Have you checked out the support thread found Here
