Guest Posted December 6, 2004 Posted December 6, 2004 By default all my uploaded products are inactive, although I followed the EP instructions and changed the config. variables set them to active by default and also made sure no quantity product are zero. What do I have to do to make them active by default and all at once? Apart from that I don't understand why all my prices are shown as 0,00 why? and also the images won't show. Is there a problem if I use capitals in my subfolders and images as in: catalog/images/MYSUBFOLDER/MYIMAGE.JPG the path in my spreadsheet reads just MYSUBFOLDER/MYIMAGE.JPG am I doing something wrong? I can't upload them from the admin section... so far there are about 6000 products and I think there will be more coming soon... I need some help please, Thanks! Quote
Guest Posted December 6, 2004 Posted December 6, 2004 this is the support thread for easypopulate: http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=64945 in osCommerce by default images go into the images directory. thus easypopulate follows suit, and if you place an image in the image field of ep, it goes there. if you want it to go elsewhere, in your case to MYSUBFOLDER, you put MYSUBFOLDER/MYIMAGE.JPG in the field and then osCommerce sees the image. and as you have them in caps, you have to ftp the files to the MYSUBFOLDER directory, if you ftp them to mysubfolder then osCommerce will not see them as *nix is case sensitive. how do you have your prices in the price column? aer you sure they are inactive or is it you have that section set in your configuration of the store? answer in the ep support thread please.
