I work with two drop shippers - one in Souther California and one in New Jersey. To save shipping costs and time, I would like to use the New Jersey dropshipper for my customers on the East Coast and the Cliafornia dropshoipper for my Weast COast orders.

Is it possible to configure the shipping calculator in such a way that:

Customers from the east coast have their shipping cost calcualted based on the originating zipcode of the New Jersey shipper and customers on the west ocast have thier shipping cost caluculated based o nthe originating zipcode of the california drop shipper?

I don't mind assigning states to dropshippers manually. I just want to knwo if this is possible and if so, how do i go about it?

I've been searching and searching.... and searching and searching and searching for an answer to this. I see lots of posts like yours. Everyone has about the same problem... And none of them are being answered. It's really weird--like a taboo on the forum or something. I don't know I'm new here.

A lot of people have this problem:

Multiple drop shippers.

Multiple zip codes.

No easy way to calculate shipping.

The MOST I've seen is one guy talking about how he customized his so you enter the zip code Per Item and modified the database to keep track of it, etc... And then when the shipping was calculated it didn't use the store zip it used the one for the item.

I saw one other thread that had everything I'd ever want and I think would make osCommerce so much more yummy:

But it's not finished yet...

I'm going to keep searching around but I think I'm going to be stuck with modifying the code to take a different zip code per item.
