Hello everyone!

 

I have tried to change the date-of-birth format, by looking around in the forum.

 

Haven't found any great info about that!

 

In sweden we use the following format

 

YY-mm-dd-PPPP.

 

The last four P's is the birthcode we have.

 

eg. 790423-5034

 

Anyone knows how to change this?

 

I also wonder how to add/delete some of the lines required when doing a new-member-registration

Adding the "birthcode" will probably not work with the "standard" date field.

 

You might need to use one of the fields (like address line 2) to store it. Search the forums on how folks have done that.

 

Also, the admin tool allows you to turn on/off some of the registration options like Mr/Mrs, date of birth etc.

If you do manage to change the way the dob is applied to the osCommerce storefront (includes/languages/english.php), don't forget to change it also in the osCommerce 'admin' control panel (admin/includes/languages/english.php, else you'll get errors generated when you try to view customer details. Obviously for your installation, if you have a swedish language pack installed then change the language file from english.php
