SSL Question

Can anyone tell me why I get redirected to http after an https login....

Process is:

1) goto web address https://www.mydomain.com

2) click on login and enter email address and password

3) when I click on login I then get redirected to the catalog root but via an http connection

I have changed the HTTP_SERVER, HTTPS_SERVER in configure.php to point to https://www.mydomain.com but still the problem exists.

Thanks,

James

what is the link to the domain?

also post your configure.php without the database info, username, password. it could be cookies, etc.

The webhosting is forwarding the / to /catalog (if that makes sense)

If people coming to www.yourdomain.com are being forwarded to www.yourdomain.com/catalog, then it is in 'catalog' that your osCommerce store is located - in which case these entries need to be:

define('DIR_WS_HTTP_CATALOG', '/catalog/');

define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', '/catalog/');

Unfortunately, you are also hosted with 'oneandone' and there is a whole load of problems posted in this forum with people trying to run ssl with this host. Search and ye shall find!
