choppertastic Posted December 4, 2004 Posted December 4, 2004 Can anyone tell me why I get redirected to http after an https login.... Process is: 1) goto web address https://www.mydomain.com 2) click on login and enter email address and password 3) when I click on login I then get redirected to the catalog root but via an http connection I have changed the HTTP_SERVER, HTTPS_SERVER in configure.php to point to https://www.mydomain.com but still the problem exists. Thanks, James
Guest Posted December 4, 2004 Posted December 4, 2004 what is the link to the domain? also post your configure.php without the database info, username, password. it could be cookies, etc.
choppertastic Posted December 5, 2004 Author Posted December 5, 2004 Here is a copy of my configure.php /* osCommerce, Open Source E-Commerce Solutions http://www.oscommerce.com Copyright © 2003 osCommerce Released under the GNU General Public License */ // Define the webserver and path parameters // * DIR_FS_* = Filesystem directories (local/physical) // * DIR_WS_* = Webserver directories (virtual/URL) define('HTTP_SERVER', 'https://www.fromtheloft.com'); // eg, http://localhost - should not be empty for productive servers define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'https://www.fromtheloft.com'); // eg, https://localhost - should not be empty for productive servers define('ENABLE_SSL', true); // secure webserver for checkout procedure? define('HTTP_COOKIE_DOMAIN', 'www.fromtheloft.com'); define('HTTPS_COOKIE_DOMAIN', 'www.fromtheloft.com'); define('HTTP_COOKIE_PATH', '/'); define('HTTPS_COOKIE_PATH', '/'); define('DIR_WS_HTTP_CATALOG', '/'); define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', '/'); define('DIR_WS_IMAGES', 'images/'); define('DIR_WS_ICONS', DIR_WS_IMAGES . ♥Vger Posted December 5, 2004 Posted December 5, 2004 If people coming to www.yourdomain.com are being forwarded to www.yourdomain.com/catalog, then it is in 'catalog' that your osCommerce store is located - in which case these entries need to be: define('DIR_WS_HTTP_CATALOG', '/catalog/'); define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', '/catalog/'); Unfortunately, you are also hosted with 'oneandone' and there is a whole load of problems posted in this forum with people trying to run ssl with this host. Search and ye shall find! Vger
