Cannot redeclare tep_db_connect

For those people receiving the error, "Cannot redeclare tep_db_connect", I received this after deleting languages from the admin panel. I found this bit of information:

I re-uploaded my includes/languages/english folder and it solved the problem! :thumbsup:

You didn't get this error by removing a language from your website by deactivating it via your admin panel. This does not remove the language files.

 

What you appear to have done is:

 

1. You followed up decactivating the language by deleting the actual files via FTP or using the File Manager

 

Or (most likely)

 

2. You overwrote a file in the includes/languages/english/ directory with a file of the same name from the root folder.

 

Reloading the folder just cured the problem caused by overwriting the wrong file.

 

Sorry I have to correct you on this, but I don't want other people to get the wrong idea as to what the problem actually was and how it was caused.
