hebert01 Posted December 3, 2004 Posted December 3, 2004 Hi all- I've spent hours exhausting the forum search, tried every suggestion I came across, all with no success. Since both this problem (and my level of intellect) both appear pretty simple, I'll ask this question one more time, in hopes that someone can slam dunk it. My site is for a non-profit, and accepts membership and donations in addition to merchandise sales. I simply need the memberships and donations to process with no shipping charges. I really DON'T want to use weight-based shipping tables. We already have a shipping table arranged by price, and I prefer it stay that way. Can it be done? I tried enabling the "download" option, as I figured I'd use this as a workaround and allow the donor to download a thank-you message. Worked great, as long as I didn't couple a donation order with a merchandie order. Example: A $15 t-shirt and a $100 donation gets charged the shipping rate for a $115 purchase, not a $15 one. I'm hesitant to implement an involved contribution that'd be overkill for this simple problem. None I've come across seem to attack my concern anyway. Can anyone give me a hand with this one? This problem seems *way* easier than I'm making it. I can't believe it's grinding me to a halt. Thanks very much for the assist.
♥Vger Posted December 5, 2004 Posted December 5, 2004 If you install the CCGV contribution (from 'Contributions' at the top of this page) you can select certain items and apply free shipping to them instead of a discount. When people go through Checkout they add the relevant code to the box, click on the new Redeem button and they get Free Shipping on those items (provided they match with the items you have selected for free shipping).
