tbsg Posted December 3, 2004 Posted December 3, 2004 We're redesigning a website for a client that currently uses clic.net for the commerce portion of their site. The new site that we're building will use osCommerce. I've installed osCommerce in the new hosting account (client is switching hosting as well) and I've changed my c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts file to point to the new ip address so that I can view the site on the new server. When I access the 'shop' and log in to the admin, everything appears to be fine. But as soon as I select any of the actons from the osCommerce admin panel I'm redirected to www.clic.net (the existing commerce provider) and get a 404 error page. Any ideas as to how I can bypass this so that I can build the site on the new server? Much appreciated.
tbsg Posted December 3, 2004 Author Posted December 3, 2004 Figured out what was happening. Needed the change the hrefs in the shop/admin/includes/configure.php and shop/includes/configure.php to include www. Hope this helps someone else along the way.
