SSL for admin area but NOT for Categories/Products

Hello,

 

I have secured the admin area with ssl and things seem to be working fine. I am using the contrib UltraPics that lets the user edit products in a nice editor (WYSIWYG editor for text plus nice image uplaod features).

Problem is, this contrib does not seem to work with SSL - all the image/file upload features do not work under SSL (All the icons for selecting a picture are gone).

 

How could I keep the admin area running under SSL with the exception of the Categories/Producs sub section?

 

Any suggestions?
