It's quite stock - I'm not very skilled at php coding and changing layouts - but I would like to hear any comments. burt Posted December 3, 2004 Posted December 3, 2004 The green on white is hard to read -> maybe a bit more contraty colours would be better? The logo is far too large (takes up half my screen)... Remove Language and Currency Boxes. hth

virose_pt Posted December 13, 2004 Posted December 13, 2004 The general color is very bright, it hurts the eyes a little, but that?s just my opinion. Remove the Language and Currency boxes, as there are only one choice.

I agree, the colors are bright - Mom likes those since it is a baby site so I've left them pretty much the same colors. ;) (sorry to resurect such an old post, I've just now had the time to change these things) Other opinions?
dakatone Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 I love your logo, so as a quick fix you might want to reduce size SLIGHTLY and double stack 'em: TYKIE DIAPERS ...quilted with love Center it and there you go, will not be too big. You have a novel product. It is not a general site at all in that realm, and deals to a more specific demographic. Your mother should do extremely well if you get all the minor bug ironed out, keep the site clean, maintain it properly and always print out and keep far too much paperwork :'( That is, of course, assuming you implement a good marketing strategy as well. Guest Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 Dakatone: Thanks! But the header size was already changed to make it less tall. It was so tall it took half the screen up. I'm afraid if I stack the words it would result in a 'tall' header image again. Thanks for the compliments on it btw! :) giftmaster: I used a contrib to add an about us page - I just followed it to add other pages (changing file names of course) I am sure that if you search in the knowledge base or contribs you'll find it quickly!
