Hi there,

Here is an short example.

We are selling dollarstore items. The item cost is around 50c-60c. They can be sold only as a cases. How do I show the product price, but customers minimum purchase is case (usually 36pcs). If I input the price of the product ex. 67c, then at the checkout cstomers can purchase only one or two pieces, which is not what we trying to do. Hope this example makes sence.

basicaly how do I show the price for one item, but minimum order is a one case from that product.

Any help will be appretiated.

If this is answered here, link to forum is enough.

Thank you

Matt

I would use the price for the case as the price you are using, and simply put the 'per unit' price in the product description.

Eg.

Product: Red Cylindrical Widget - 10 Pack

Price: 6.50

Description: Buy our Widgets for only $6.50 for a pack of 10, working out to $0.65 per widget. What a Deal! Get them while they last!!

Or something to that effect.

Thanks guys, I tought about the same thing, but the problem is, that at the product listing page, I want the customer to see the price per piece next to the buy now button. The way you've described, it would show the price per case and that is what we don't want. Of course the company I'm doing this for thinks that it shouldn't be a big deal. The products don't have description, cause there will be about 3000 of them. That is why I'm trying to find out now, before I put everything in and then if there is a easier way I would have to redo all 3000 some products.

Any help out there?

You can see the process here http://www.dollarstorecenter.com/catalog

Thank you

Matt
