removing the box formatting from the options

Hi all,

 

Quick question how do I remove the box bit from around the options on the website. I am using the STS template and I have put the languages in the top right hand part of the site - however I only want the flags to show.

I am really lost on this one so any help would be great - I just dont seem to be able to find any file which controls the layout of each of the boxes.
