tulipboutique Posted December 1, 2004 Share Posted December 1, 2004 I tried running a test purchase (without really buying it) in my store but every time I log in and add a product, it tells me my cart is empty and loops you around back to login site if you want to check out. Here is what happens: When you go and add something to the shopping cart, it asks whether you are existing client or not. You write your username/password, and it says your shopping cart is empty. However, in the upper right corner, there is a shopping cart section. When you go there, you actually see what is in your shopping cart. Then you go to "checkout" option, and you get prompted for username and password again. So you cant checkout ever! Doe anyone have any idea how to have "Empty Cart" disappear and see your contents right away and also how to checkout normally? OceanRanch Posted December 1, 2004 Share Posted December 1, 2004 Sounds like you have SSL set to true in your catalog/includes/configure.php and catalog/admin/includes/configure.php files AND you really do not have a SSL set up on your host, or its configured incorrectly. Try setting SSL to false and see if that solves it. It also might be if you are accessing site thru AOL and you have "check IP" address set to on in your admin panel, the IP address occasionaly will change between http and https on AOL and cause this set of circumstances you describe.
