Hozza Posted December 1, 2004 Share Posted December 1, 2004 I get the following error everytime I try and access the admin area: Warning: mysql_connect(): Access denied for user: 'mysql@localhost' (Using password: NO) in /home/t/o/totallywoman/public_html/*****/includes/functions/database.php on line 19 Unable to connect to database server! Guest Posted December 1, 2004 Share Posted December 1, 2004 if this is the first time installing, you need to have created an mysql database, assigned a username to it and a user password. this during the installation process you key these in where asked. you also need to set 777 permissions on the includes/configure.php and admin/includes/configure.php for installation, after completing, set to 644 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
