mark754
Can someone please tell me the easiest way to copy some products from one OSC site to another OSC site? Can I just download/export the appropriate database fields using MyPhpAdmin then upload them to the new site? Thanks.
Nick Weisser
If you're running the same version of osCommerce on both shops, yes.
ozcsys
Just to be clear it has to be exactly the same shop database. If you have added any contributions or made any changes that affected the database then you need to copy the complete site and not just the database. The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing. Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems? There are many very useful osC Contributions Are you having trouble with a installed contribution? Have you checked out the support thread found Here BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP!!! You did backup, right??

In this case, is there any way to copy products, other than manually adding them in? I only need to copy some of the products, not all of them. Guest
Mark, It might be better to install Easy Populate on both sites. Download products from one site and then upload them into the other. ed
