jhirst
After two days of searching and head scratching I am requesting some direction from the forum. I generally grind away through pages of search results but so far I have come up dry and I feel like I am spinning my wheels here. I should mention: The Install button for this module in the Admin/module/shipping screen doesn't disappear or default to the typical "edit" and "remove" buttons that I expect it to. I won't double post - I asked this question HERE . If this sets off alarm bells for anyone as a show stopper then let me know. It is annoying but I'm not sure it is the root cause of my shipping module issue. My main issue is that on my checkout screen I am returned the error: "Cannot reach Canada Post Server. You may refresh this page (Press F5 on your keyboard) to try again. If you prefer to use canadapost as your shipping method, please contact the Millers Oils North America via Email." I am new to this but this is what I have done so far to try and troubleshoot this: a) confirmed with Canada Post that I have an account ID on the test server and it is valid. I have logged on with my supplied password so I know it works. b ) filled in the correct CPC_.. account id info on the install module set up c) using the test server IP d) using port 30000 e) requested that my provider, Netfirms, ensure that the Canada Post production/test IP addresses and ports are open for my store. (No reply yet) f) talked to Canada Post tech support to verify my account status and request any potentially helpful info. They checked the debug report for my Canada Post account and confimed that there had been no requests for access to their test server from my account ID that day - despite my multiple "tests" I ran through my checkout screen. g) My profile on the Canada Post Sell Online development site has my correct postal code and info and is set to test mode h) my admin store configuration has the correct postal code and zone info Sorry for the length of this first time request, I just wanted to try and show that I have done some research and am not looking for a free handout. Having said that - I'm stumped! Help. :'( Jonathan Millers Oils NA
