jond Posted November 30, 2004 Share Posted November 30, 2004 Hi, Ive just installed a fresh oscommerce. We want to ship via UPS (we dont always do this, but the calculated cost will be comparable). The first problem is UPS only calculates up to 150 lbs i believe. There is yet no rate finder for UPS Freight (150 lbs +). So the first thing i need is a solution to this. If an order is over 150 lbs, i would need to bill the customer (or preferably find a heavy weight contib). I have paypal and credit card as payment methods. If they paid via paypal, how could i accept another payment without them buying another product? Suggestions for setting up heavy shipping? The 2nd thing is this - I want the shipping cost based on the weight of the order. However, id like to flag certain products to ship for free if the total order is over $100 - Any contribs for this?
