whipperscrapper
After 15 sucessful orders, the last two orders we had (from different customers on different days) are MISSING! We received a notification from the credit card processing company that the order was placed, the amount, and who placed it, just as we had been. But we didn't receive an "order process" e-mail notifying us of what the order WAS. Upon investigation, we see in "admin" that the customer had created an account, but their number of logins was zero, and they had no orders listed. Under "php my admin" we are able to access their shopping cart contents and extrapolate what the order was for. Does anyone have any idea why this is suddenly happening? We haven't changed anything since we opened, except for a couple things in "sessions" under admin, for security reasons.
ckyshop.co.uk
What credit card processing mod are you using? Thanks for any help/comments. Regards, Lewis Hill
Guest
This can happen with PayPal and some other processors that require you to leave the osC site, go to their site, and then return to click "continue" to finish the transaction. I suspect that these customers did not return to the site to click "continue." There are many threads on this topic, but the easiest temporary quick-fix is to look in the KB for the "Master Password", login to their account, and check them out manually. Since they've already paid, use the check/money order payment method so that they don't have to pay twice. -jared
