lauretti
I am wondering if there is an easy way to backup the database because I don't want to have to go back in and add all those products to the database again. I know of the Database Backup Manager but is that where I would do it? I downloaded the database to my PC, but when I go to restore it into a blank OSC install will it take all the vaules and create my categories? Please let me know. Sincerely, Dave. ♥Vger
If you backup the existing database via FTP, and remove your old website (including the database), then set up a new site with the database having the same name as the old one - then, when all is set up, just delete the new (default) database via FTP and upload the old one.
