how do you download over 1200 products

could anyone help please?

how do you download over 1200 products from your database without timing out?

even when i do it to the temp file it times out.

upload is a little easier after splitting it but it's definitely not speedy.

any advice would be gratefully welcome.

thanks for your response, but that deals with adding more categories and fields. i can't even download my complete text without timing out.

any suggestions please?
