scorpio33 Posted November 26, 2004 Posted November 26, 2004 I just tried to install The Header Tag Controller ver. 2.3.6 When finished i checked to see if the files were updated. Everything seems to be in place. Can someone please tell me how to check if it working. Also where do i go to fill in the Meta information? Thanks
Guest Posted November 26, 2004 Posted November 26, 2004 did you read the instructions to add the required statement to call the HTC onto the pages? to fill in meta information, you go into each product and add the meta tag info there. if you go to a page and then view source, if installed correctly you will see the meta information.

Instructions told me to replace and add files to directorys, which is what i did. I thought that the info would be put in boxes? The download has a gif. of a page that would have to be filled in with the info, but i dont see it. I checked one of my pages. I don't see any meta info? If you can help me out please do.

'header.sql' file <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If you have access to your db via phpmyadmin, open the file and copy/paste into the large text entry box in phpmyadmin and hit go. This should make all the changes for you.
