click to enlarge window empty

I have read in the forum how to enlargen the click to enlargen popup window. However, the window is still blank - no image is showing up.

 

Also, I read in the forum that the image will resize itself if I only put in the width or height in the admin area - but not both.

 

When I put just the width or height in the images admin screen, the image won't show up. It only shows up if I put both width and height.

 

Any suggestions, I want a nice unsquished image for the catalog, but a nicer larger image for the "click to enlarge" popup.

Figured some of it out...

 

in the configuration on the admin panel for images, I had set the "Calculate Image Size" to true thinking that it would automatically calculate the image and scale it.

 

However it was the reverse, now that I have set that to false, the pop-up is working.

 

Unfortunately though, I haven't been able to figure out how to scale only one feature ie set width as 100 and let it automatically determine the height.

 

What I had to do to get around it was make all of my images the same size even if it meant having white background on the image so that images were skewed.

 

If anyone has any idea on how to force the images to a specific width or height and let the other parameter automatically scale, please let me know.
