External Partlookup/Configurator

Hello!

 

I want to integrate an external partlookup.

 

The part lookup works in this way: When a customer selects a category in my oscommerce site, it should open a frame where the visitor is actually looking at an external company's partlookup. The visitor uses the external company's lookup, arrives at a partnumber, that site sends back the partnumber along with description and itemnumber(which is stored in my OSCommerce site with pricing). This should be enough to populate the cart, and hopefully close the sale.

 

Has anybody had experience in doing something like this?
