Remove NewsDesk Lorem Ipsum

Okay - so my partner and I have been trying to get rid of the pesky newsdesk from the front page of our osC template that we bought for weeks now with no success. How do you get rid of it? We cannot find where this is linked anywhere. The following is the only thing we can find on it if we do a view source viewing our webpage. The webpage in reference is http://www.thenewpeanut.com. Any help on this would be hugely appreciated.
