Securing site for login / checkout

We are now looking to secure our online store and I would like to know in advance which folders / files need to be copied over to the https folder.

 

Any help greatfully received.

it all depends upon how your host setup the server. most hosts setup the server such that the ssl security will follow the application, ie osCommerce has built in so when an ssl page is required, the switching would be done via it talking with the server and everything can be on the same spot.

if your host has two directories, the easiest way is to copy the whole site (a pain, as you have two to maintain).

To be honest it's not really a problem copying the whole site into the https folder, so i'll do that. I'm not really planning a lot of changes to the site for a while yet anyway so to have two directories to maintain isn't really a big problem.
