Can someone help me to understand why when I try to login to my admin page I now receive the message:

Warning: mysql_connect(): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2) in /home/.abstractkiln/basshook/bassonhook.com/oscommerce-2.2ms2/catalog/admin/includes/functions/database.php on line 19

Unable to connect to database server!

Everything used to work fine. All I did is move my files to my c drive from mydocuments folder. Am I supposed to add or change some php code somewhere?

I've been to my config pages and cannot see where I should make the changes. Here is my admin config code:

I don't even know what it is that I'm looking at so how should I know what code to change without a manual or configure instructions? Is there someone out there who can pm me with some detailed instructions on how to set up a store with osc? I've been at this for three months now with no success. I've read through almost every forum and post, but still cannot get my head around this. I was hoping to have my store up and running before the Xmas rush. Am I just stupid or is this program that difficult?

Vger, thanks for your prompt reply. I've added the words http://localhost to the lines of code you specify, but it still doesn't work. I guess I will have to uninstall and reinstall to see if the auto install function will reset everything to default once again. It worked okay when I first installed it.

I've re-installed the program and it works fine now. Not sure what I did wrong the first time, but oh well that's the way it goes I guess. Thanks for all your help.
