arames Posted November 23, 2004 Posted November 23, 2004 Hi there, people can sign in for an account, but once they finish, they are taken back to the main page and aren't logged in. If they try to login, they can enter the "email address" +"password", but are taken back again to "login.php", and are asked to login. So they can't really log in to their account :( Here is the configure.php <?php/* osCommerce, Open Source E-Commerce Solutions http://www.oscommerce.com Copyright © 2003 osCommerce Released under the GNU General Public License */ // Define the webserver and path parameters // * DIR_FS_* = Filesystem directories (local/physical) // * DIR_WS_* = Webserver directories (virtual/URL) define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://www.mydomain.com'); // eg, http://localhost - should not be empty for productive servers define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'https://ssl.kundenserver.de/mydomain.com); // eg, https://localhost - should not be empty for productive servers define('ENABLE_SSL', false); // secure webserver for checkout procedure? define('HTTP_COOKIE_DOMAIN', 'www.mydomain.com'); define('HTTPS_COOKIE_DOMAIN', ''); define('HTTP_COOKIE_PATH', '/shop/'); define('HTTPS_COOKIE_PATH', ''); define('DIR_WS_HTTP_CATALOG', '/shop/'); define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', ''); define('DIR_WS_IMAGES', 'images/'); define('DIR_WS_ICONS', DIR_WS_IMAGES . Guest Posted November 23, 2004 Posted November 23, 2004 define('DIR_FS_CATALOG', ''); is empty, you need to have this filled in. is this a new site? did you to the autoinstall?

arames Posted November 23, 2004 Author Posted November 23, 2004 Strange ... I closed all my explorer windows, and reopened them. Now logging in works. Do I still need to the document root please Sir?

'download/'); define('DIR_FS_DOWNLOAD_PUBLIC', DIR_FS_CATALOG . 'pub/'); // define our database connection ........... ............ ........ ?> Please help me... customers can't log in :( is it a cookie problem??
