under our server info, we think we may have found the problem that stops us from editing our pages (uploads and download) under configeration, PHP core, user_directory has <no value>

should we play around with this or is it not possible for us to do this?

very frustrating when we know it is only 1 setting that will open the flood gates for us to launch!!!! <_<

hmm...our user_dir directive also shows "no value", and that hasn't stopped us. I believe that's a normal setting--at least it matches recommended php.ini settings from php.net.

; The directory under which PHP opens the script using /~usernamem used only
; if nonempty.
user_dir =
