Subcategorys give fault in page ...

I have already a few months a webshop running on OSCommerce, without any probs.

Now, today I was taking a look to change the layout of my pages. I made some changes to the css file, different colors. After that I copied the original css back to the site, so no changes were done.

After that I took a look and I saw that there was a problem:

When I click on a category, I see a figure "n" above my subcategorypicture. For each subcategory there is one "n" added.

The problem is that I'm not sure when the problem began, it could be even for weeks like this.

So, anyone have any idea where this problem begins? What file I have to change for it?

I'm not an expert, so please be clearly ...
