I have 2.2 installed and i need a shipping module to calculate my shipping costs as follows and wondered which contrib if any to use :

The first 20.0kg (so baseweight rather than baseprice) = ?6.75

Then for it to add ?0.20 per kg thereafter

Being based on weight, and would be the only shipping module required.

So for example an item with its weight set to 21kg, would be calculated at ?6.75 (for the first 20kg) + ?0.20 (for the extra 1kg) giving a total of ?6.95

I have tried table rate and "Shipping- Fee + x-per-kilo" from lloyd swadling on page 6 of the contribs, but it didnt seem to work, as my guess is the baseweight may be set to 1kg, if this is true how could i set the baseweight to 20kg?

Also is it possible to display the weight or total weight in the carts checkout to accompany the price?

Any suggestions would be welcome

Ok i have decided to try the slightly long winded way of doing this using the standard table rate using these values :

20:6.75,21:6.95,22:7.15,23:7.35,24:7.55,25:7.75,26:7.95,27:8.15,28:8.35,29:8.55,

30:8.75,31:8.95,32:9.15,33:9.35,34:9.55,35:9.75,36:9.95,37:10.15,38:10.35,39:10.5

5,40:10.75,41:10.95,42:11.15,43:11.35,44:11.55,45:11.75,46:11.95,47:12.15,48:12.3

5,49:12.55,50:12.75,51:12.95,52:13.15,53:13.35,54:13.55,55:13.75,56:13.95,57:14.1

5,58:14.35,59:14.55,60:14.75,61:14.95,62:15.15,63:15.35,64:15.55,65:15.75,66:15.9

5,67:16.15,68:16.35,69:16.55,70:16.75,71:16.95,72:17.15,73:17.35,74:17.55,75:17.7

5,76:17.95,77:18.15,78:18.35,79:18.55,80:18.75,81:18.95,82:19.15,83:19.35,84:19.5

5,85:19.75,86:19.95,87:20.15,88:20.35,89:20.55,90:20.75,91:20.95,92:21.15,93:21.3

5,94:21.55,95:21.75,96:21.95,97:22.15,98:22.35,99:22.55,100:22.75

The problem is it will only go up to 49:12.55 and stops at 50, so somewhere the value of how much data can go here is restricted...can someone point me in the direction of where to change this...would it be the database?

I have maximum weight set to 1000 in my configuration.
