sargenle Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 I installed a contribution and I asked about a week ago about it and got no response. So I though I would post here and see if I can get some help. In my admin I have a contribution that adds coupons and gift vouchers. For some reason the coupon and gift voucher enteries are shown twice. When I click on one of them this is what is listed in the URL bar. http://lhsmarkets.chainreactionweb.com/adm...p?gID=1&cID=174 I looked in configuration.php but that is not where the double entry is coming from. Using the gID and the cID can someone hazard a guess as to where the enteries are coming from. How about where the items in the admin/configuration/my store come from. That is where the duplicate entries are listed. I could go back and uninstall this whole contribution but I am hoping someone has an answer. Thanks for looking. Lee
Guest Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 this forum is for support of osCommerce, and not other applications . . .you will need to go to where you downloaded your application from to get an answer.
bobg7 Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 You may have done the same thing I did on my test version. I did a full install, including the SQL's for 2 versions of the CCGV and it created 2 entries in the Admin panel. To fix it, I reinstalled the osCommerce SQL only using the AQL Updater cintribution, I then had to re-enter all the basic information like it was a fresh install. I also used Easy Populate to re-upload and bring the items back into sync to the database. Since I had no real customer or order information in the DB I didn't loose anything other than a little time and a few hairs. Hope this helps. Bob G Installed Contributions: CCGV, Close Popup, Dynamic Meta Tags, Easy Populate, Froogle Data Feeder, Google Position, Infobox Header Entire Row, Live Support for OSC, PayPal Seal with CC images, Report_m Sales, Shop by Price Revised, SQL Updater, Who's Online Enhancement, Footer, GNA EP Assistant and still going.
sargenle Posted November 22, 2004 Author Posted November 22, 2004 Okay then. How about if I ask my question this way. In admin under admin/configuration/my store in what file or database table do the enteries under My Store come from? Lee

Bob G <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thanks a mint for pointing me into the general direction. I had to go to the configuration table in my database and there I found the double enteries. I took them out and viola. No more double enteries. Thank you for you help. Sincerely. Lee
