Hello,

Can someone tell me how to restore products, descriptions and categories using phpmyadmin.

I have tried to use the backup/restore function in admin and I believe it times out.

This is what I am given.

mysql -hlocalhost -uroot -p rm < /home/httpd/vhosts/abcdefg. com/httpdocs/admin/backups/db_ abc-20041119013311.sql

What do I run in phpmyadmin? Can someone please tell me explicit instructions on how to do so? I know I just dont put the statement above in sql and hit go! What is it supposed to look like?

Look forward to hearing from anyone that can help a newbie!

The easiest way to do this is to ftp your most recent backup or the one you want to use for the restore from your backup folder to your local computer, then go to phpmyadmin choose your database, click on the sql tab and drill down to the backup file and click on go. You can also open up the file and copy and paste the contents in the window to get the same result.
